Who It's For

Physicians1 who are licensed to order radiography images and are seeking a balanced approach to ordering radiographs in an Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). The RadEvidence organization provides a comprehensive set of balanced information for physicians to help find best evidence, clinical experiences, and patient preferences information. The RadEvidence.Org website serves as the premiere resource compendium of spinal radiology information in one location. The organization website information and data presented evaluates the required and equally weighted 3 pillars of EBP.

EBP is the collaborative approach that encompasses physician clinical expertise, patient values, and the best research evidence available into the clinical decision-making process for patient care.

Clinical expertise refers to the clinician’s cumulated experience, education and clinical skills. The patient brings to the encounter his or her own personal preferences and unique concerns, expectations, and values. The best research evidence is usually found in clinically relevant research that has been conducted using sound methodology. (Sackett D, 2002)
